The splitter cables are ideal for all applications in which two tip taps of two unbalanced jack sockets to the tip and ring taps of a balanced jack plug should be distributed or vice versa, the two signals that are present at the plug to the two sockets should be.

E.g.: For tapping the clock and run signals from the balanced jack socket of a Beatstep sequencer and distributing the signals to two patch points.
